Australia's first national open competition is planned for September 28-30th 2012.  It will be hosted by the Domain International Tennis Centre in Hobart and have categories for juniors, mens, womens and seniors.  The event will be played on Fireball tables.

The event has been sanctioned by the International Table Soccer Federation as a world series masters class and is expected to attract ranked players from US, Europe, India and Asia.  Officials from the US will be directing the tournament. The top players from Australia will be invited to represent Australia in the World Cup in France, January 2013.
